Dolau Mixtures Choir invites new singers

The Dolau Mixtures Choir is keen to recruit new singers to take it forward into the next decade. Singing a vibrant and wide range of choral music with something for everyone a number of the mixed choir members have been singing together for over 20 years.

Catherine O’Rourke has taken over to lead the choir as its new director and accompanist into the next decade. The choir is keen to welcome anyone who would like to sing in a small and friendly group, whether soprano, alto, tenor or bass and even if they have not sung in a choir before and not sure what their voice is!

The choir meets on Tuesday evenings in Dolau Community Hall starting at 7.45pm. New members will be made extremely welcome and if you want to know more please telephone Barb Shelton on 01597 851427

Friday 5 July : Dolau Community Hall Concert

The Dolau Mixtures performed to a large international audience at a Summer Concert in Dolau Community Hall. Over 40 visitors from Llandrindod Wells’s twin towns of Contrexeville (France) & Bad Rappenau (Germany) were in the packed audience for a concert with Builth Male Voice Choir and local soprano Nia Thomas. The European visitors thoroughly enjoyed the concert and listening to Welsh Male Voice Choir.

Christmas Tree Festival 2018
